When I visited Florida, a few years back, I did not know anything about this kind of festival. A friend of mine who is an avid art lover dragged me to this festival and trust me I cannot thank her enough. The place was stuffed with artists and art lovers. The street came alive with art. I explored the whole festival and instantly an affinity for painting developed inside me. I went home and researched about the festival, its origin and history and decided to be a part of this grand art celebration. Since then I am a regular at the Lake Worth Street Art Festival. This year too, I attended the festival and had a great time. Here I am sharing a bit about my experience and a lot of things about the Lake Worth Street Art Festival 2015.

Lake Worth Street Art Festival is one of the most popular and renowned street art festivals in the world. It happens annually in Florida and the year 2015 is not at all an exception. This year too, Florida witnessed a lot of artists and n number of tourists who came on the street to become a part of this grand painting art festival. 

Like every year, this year too, many old and experienced as well as young and new artists have showcased their painting in this festival and also with every passing year, the popularity and fondness for this painting art festival is growing. This can be said by seeing the number of visitors, who come all the way from distant places just to see the amazing art and have a good time in this festival. 

The Lake Worth Street Art Festival 2015, is the most crowd-pleasing art festival in the whole world. Lake Worth Street Art Festival is an annual festival where artists from all over the world come to showcase their art on a different canvas, i.e., the pavement of the street. This two day Fest held every year in the month of February in downtown Lake Worth, Florida. When the artists create their masterpieces on the street, the street get transformed into an outdoor museum. Around 100,000 art lovers visit Florida to witness this amazing art festival, and around 600 talented artists showcase their work here.

The Street Art's tradition backed in the 16th century Italy. The artists used chalks, used the street as their canvas to transform the street pavement into a masterpiece. The tradition has still retained its popularity and appeal. The annual Lake Worth Street Art Festival is the testimony of the love for street art. The street paintings of this festival are sponsored by families, organizations, individuals and businesses. This year, many talented artists won accolades of the audience. There was a painting by an artist, namely Oscar Lopez. The piece was indeed a masterpiece. He did a portrait of Morrison, Joplin and Hendrix. The art was phenomenal and was admired by everyone. Another amazing work was a Louie Armstrong picture created by an artist Joe. There were some other amazing pieces which too succeeded in winning the hearts of the masses. There were paintings of Superman, Captain America, a mermaid, a spacecraft, Monalisa and lot many kinds of graffiti.
